Job Description

A helicopter company based in Scotland currently seeks an experienced Storeman with a back ground working in rotary wing stores.

Primary Function: Provides a comprehensive service including the receipt, dispatch and storage of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with CAA regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities: Stock checks with Movex MRO system. Places reservation requests in Source one. Monitors consumables stock levels. Monitors back-order status. Expedite parts delivery on a daily basis. Shipping requests as detailed by shipping Supervisor. Archiving and certification.

Desirable experience and qualities: Strong background of aircraft stores and parts. Demonstrate competence experience in Movex MRO and Source one computer system. Ability to multitask, prioritise a heavy workload and make sound decisions. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to respond quickly to customer request(s). Team player with the ability to work unsupervised. Must be willing to perform shift work as required by Stores manager when requested.

Qualifications: None required but would be advantageous if Dangerous Goods by Air and Forklift Certificates are held.
