
DescriptionA Quality and Safety Manager is required by my client who is based in Scotland. You will be responsible for overseeing and updating the company Quality Assurance and Safety Procedures, including all accreditations. You will conduct operational, technical and safety audits as per the company audit calendar. You'll Participate in incident/ accident investigations as directed. Participate in Non-conformance investigations and customer complaints. Maintain approvals, procedures and accreditations. Ensure that company occupational health and safety related incident, injuries and accidents are entered into SQID. In conjunction with the company HESS representative, compile statistical information regarding HESS and operational safety. Convenes and chairs the Business Unit SMS Review meeting. Conduct as directed, special projects aimed at enhancing safety within the company. Advise senior management on compliance issues as they relate to the companies SMS Policies. Implement systems to ensure compliance with SMS policies and local regulatory and customer requirements, whichever is more stringent. Advise the Business Unit Leader and corporate VP of Safety and Quality on matters concerning safety and quality within the business unit. Maintain company safety procedures in accordance with legislation. Ensure all company personnel are aware of their responsibilities in terms of Safety and Quality. Provide written reports on audit findings and implement and monitor corrective actions. Desirable experience and qualities: · Sound knowledge of ISO BS EN 9000 2000 would be an advantage. |
